Every fifth Sunday of the month, which occurs each quarter, we gather together for a special time with other churches in the area.

On Sunday, March 30, four churches gatherered together to hear about the mission field in Mali, west Africa.
(Grace & Peace, River Crossing, First Baptist and Emmanuel Chapel.)

The pastor of  First Baptist Church of Newtown Square and his wife, gave a presentation of their 2006 trip to the bushland of Mali.  Mali is a democratic, largely Muslim, former French colony.  We enjoyed a taste of Mali - in  food, song and fellowship!

We met at River Crossing Community Church
177 Church Street (at Chestnut) in Spring City.  Please pray with us that the Word would be spread in this destitute country, which is under the grip of Islam.  There is hope for a radio ministry and a Bible translated into the language of the common people.

On Sunday, January 13, 2008 we enjoyed a Sandwich meal immediately after Worship at West-Mont Christian before meeting together for ministry at Golden Living Retirement Center.

On Saturday, March 1, 2008, we gathered at a members' home and enjoyed fellowshipping and sharing a meal.  We have all-church meals about every other month.  The entire church is invited - and all friends, neighbors and family.

Our next shared meal was Sunday, May 4, 2008, immediately after Worship with beef and pork BBQ sandwiches!

On Monday evening, March 3, 2008, the pastor from the only reformed church in Lebanon, Walid Bitar,  came to present the work that he is doing in that war-torn, poverty stricken land.  Lebanon is the only country in the Middle East that allows evangelism.  Pastor Bitar has been passing out tracts and Bibles and sharing the Gospel with many - mostly Muslims.  Lebanon is a highly international country, with immigrant workers from Nepal, Phillippines, Iraq, etc.   Pastor Bitar has had opportunity to tell these displaced workers of the Grace of Jesus Christ.  God be praised!

Grace & Peace Presbyterian Church enjoyed a Christmas in January at the Golden Living Nursing Center (Beverly) in Phoenixville on Sunday afternoon,
January 13 when we met together with the residents to worship our King through gifts, song, music and scripture.

"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world." James 1:27

for our troops overseas!

G&PPC was given the opportunity to encourage some of our military personnel in Afghanistan and Iraq.  A project has been started through the
chaplains in the PCA where churches can send bags of needed items to our service personnel through their office.

The "Packing Party" was November 29, at 7:00 PM at the Brandon's home and boxes were shipped out after.

Last summer, we sent a team to Mississippi to help rebuild after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.  We worked through a local church, Laniape Presbyterian,  and helped rebuild 2 homes, and run a Bible camp for the local children.

We plan to go again next year!

Our leader is puzzled!

We see you, Mrs. K!
