With My Whole Heart
Starting Wednesday 9/21
We will be starting a new study using the book “With My Whole Heart” about Psalm 119.
It will be a study of whole-hearted Christian devotion, commitment and service based on texts from psalm 119, written by one of the most beloved PCA writers.
The Christian life is a journey, one that needs the light of God shining on our path while we walk in the darkness. Only He knows where He wants us to go, and only He knows what He wants us to be. Psalm 119, knows for its being the longest psalm and chapter in the Bible, teaches us so much about God and how we can grow closer to Him in our daily lives. Let Emalyn take you on a new journey along God’s pathway.
With my Whole Heart, studies from Psalm 119, underscores how we can serve the Lord without realizing that a half-hearted commitment misses the mark of true discipleship. Emalyn Spencer reminds us that because the heart is the control center of our lives, we have to focus intentionally on being certain that “it” is right, and nothing less than loving and serving God with our whole heart pleases him. She underscores this best using Psalm 119:131 “I open my mouth, and pant, because I long for your commandments.”
Please RSVP to Emily Long or Renee Mayk and to reserve a book.
We will meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
